"I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know" - Blood, Sweat, and Tears

From the first album Child is Father to the Man, inspired by a lyric from the unfinished album that drove Brian Wilson crazy, this is before Blood, Sweat, and Tears started to sound very…derivative, pretentious as that makes me sound. There later songs sound a lot like the Yardbirds, I think. This album is very, VERY funky. (Funky like Bitches Brew, not like George Clinton.) Try it on.

"He’s helpless. Trapped by his own staggering good looks."

From the episode “Too Many Girls”
